How do we do a joint bridal shower?

This doesnt sound like a good idea to me. The bridal shower should be about the bride. If you share it, then you have to share the spot light. It just sounds like a big head ache too. Making sure the gifts don't get mixed up, and make sure that everyone gets recognized. The games and such wouldnt be to hard, and food would be easier, only one shower to provide for, but the gifts and the guests would be the toughest. Granted you guys are best friends, but it may put some people in ackward positions to purchase gifts for a joint shower.
