Should i allow my wife to do everything for me?

hello friends, i just have a quick question about marriage, I've been married to my wife for about 8 months, we have a strong relationship but i find her trying to dominate every situation were both in school right now. she wants to do all of my school work and hers and i keep thinking to myself OK this is very strange no one just helps like that unless they want recondition or something in return i feel as if she's one of those people who say if it wasn't for me you would have no gotten this. or i have control over this situation and you can progress without me I've never been married before so i would like to know what everyone else thinks about this situation she's had a dark past.
